BALTIMORE, Md. (July 18, 2012)-The Lady Bears basketball team will begin a season-long four-game homestand when they play host to Stony Brook on Sunday, Nov. 18 at Hill Field House.
The contest will be the second straight meeting between the two teams. Last season the Seawolves defeated Morgan State, 65-48 in New York to end a seven-game losing skid, while extending Morgan State's losing skid to five games. Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 3-0.
Last season Stony Brook finished the 2011-12 season with a 4-26 overall record, 1-15 in the Big South Conference under first-year head coach Beth O'Boyle. The Seawolves concluded the season on a 16-game losing streak.
