Morgan State to Hold Men's and Women's Cross Country Tryouts

BALTIMORE, Md. (Aug. 5, 2009)-The Morgan State University cross country office has announced it will hold open tryouts from Sunday, August 16 until Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Anyone interested in trying out for the men’s and women’s cross country teams should contact distance coach Ralph Jones.
If you are an incoming freshman you will need to be cleared through the NCAA clearing house to be eligible to compete for Division I, which is a long process. All walk-ons will have to pick up and complete the sports medicine package and receive a sports physical.
