Rain Washes Away MEAC Softball Series Against UMES

BALTIMORE, Md. (April 11, 2009)-Due to inclement weather and poor field conditions, Morgan State’s Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) softball series against visiting Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) at Lois T. Murray Field has been postponed.
No make-up date has been set for the conference series, originally scheduled as a doubleheader today, followed by a single game tomorrow.
The Lady Bears (11-6) are currently off until Saturday, April 25, when they travel to Washington, D.C. to take on Howard in a MEAC doubleheader.
UMES (13-10) returns to action on Wednesday, April 15, when they host Coppin State in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
