Len Ford

A native of Washington, DC, Len Ford went to Armstrong High School before enrolling into Morgan State University.  Len played only one season at MSU, before transferring to the University of Michigan, but he always held fond memories of Morgan.  Len played wide receiver for the Los Angeles Dons in AAFC in 1949.  After the AAFC folded, he signed with the Clevland Browns and was moved to defensive end to take advantage of his exceptional pass-rushing skills.  Len earned All-NFL honors five times between 1951 to 1955 and played in four Pro Bowls.  Len was enshrined into the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1976 and requested that both Morgan State and Michigan be listed on his profile.
