A Closer Look...McKhan (pronounced mick-can) transferred from the University of Connecticut...He was named second-team All-Broward County by the Miami Herald and played in the prestigious Dade-Broward All-Star Game...Had nine career interceptions...Also returned two punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns...Helped Miramar to the 6A Regional Final before losing to eventual state runner-up Deerfield Beach...Also played starting guard on the Miramer basketball team.
