2007-08 (Freshman): Battled with a strain hamstring injury in January, but was able to compete and finish the season...Competed during the indoor season and ran a personal record in the 400m with a time of 53.88...Also ran in his first 500m race and finished in a time of 1:11.

High School: Ran cross country for the first time in high school during his senior year at Magruder...Placed 8th in the State of Maryland in the 4X200 relay during the indoor season as a senior year...Also helped the team make it to the State meet in the 4X400m relay, but got disqualified at States...Finished second in the region for the 4X200m relay...During outdoor he was 9th in the region for the 400m...Helped the team break the 4X100m and 4X400m relay records at Magruder...Also helped break the 4X200m and 4X400m relay indoor records at my school...Also helped the team set a meet record at Chantilly in the 4X100m relay.

Personal: Born on Aug. 26, 1989...Son of Christopher and Elizabeth Obiarinze...Has four siblings, Kenneth, Edward, Chris and Judy (twin sister)...Major is accounting.
