Bowling Finishes Fourth At Third And Final MEAC Northern Division Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 26, 2018)-The Morgan State bowling team returned to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division action over the weekend and placed fourth in the final MEAC Northern Division #3 competition of the season, held at Potomac Lanes. The Lady Bears would finish with a 2-6 mark, while totaling 6,727 pins for an average 168.2.

Prior to the start of Sunday's Baker matches, the Lady Bears' Kiana Baham, Gina Beebe and Ashley Porter were among the 11 MEAC Northern Division bowlers who were recognized by Howard University during a Senior Day ceremony. 

Diamond Hunter led Morgan State with 693 pins in four games for an average of 173.2 pins to finish ninth. Porter finished 14th with a total of 583 pins in three games for an average of 194.33.

Morgan State will travel to Egg Harbor Township, N.J. to compete in the Hawk Flight Invitational hosted by Monmouth (March 2-4) at King Pin Bowling Lanes.
