ALTOONA, Pa. (Jan. 28, 2018)-The Lady Bears bowling team concluded the three-day Red Flash Invitational bowling tournament on Sunday with a ninth-place finish after going 2-1 during the championship bracket at the Holiday Bowl.

Lincoln Memorial captured the team title with an 8-2 record and 9,519 pins. Host St. Francis-Pa. finished second with an 8-1 record and a total of 9,918 pins, while Duquesne went 9-0 on the weekend and took third-place with 9,474 pins. Kutztown placed fourth with a 7-2 record and a total of 8,891.1 pins. Caldwell finished 7-2 to claim fifth with a total of 9,198.
Morgan State began the championship bracket with a rematch victory over 10th-place Mount Aloysius, 4-2. The Lady Bears then fell to Felician, 4-3 before closing out the tournament with a 4-0 victory over Mount Aloysius to take ninth.

On Saturday Morgan State tallied 4,408 pins and finished 2-3 during the Traditional Team matches on Day 2 of the Red Flash Invitational at the Holiday Bowl. The Lady Bears improved to 5-5 over the first two days of Baker and Traditional games and knocked down 8,763 pins through a total of 10 matches to remain in ninth-place heading into Sunday.
Morgan State opened up Day 2 with a victory over Coppin State (816-768), but dropped its next three matches against Long Island-Post (918-906), St. Francis-Pa. (1,115-817) and Kutztown (928.1-928). The Lady Bears ended the evening with a 941-860 victory over Mount Aloysius.

The Lady Bears were led by
Katherine Clouse and
Devin Hill-Bartlett, who each knocked down 909 pins for an average of 181.8 on Saturday. Aluyssa Berke twice bowled a high game of 234 against Long Island-Post and Mount Aloysius.
