ECAC Final Results
PRINCETON, N.J. (May 17, 2010)-The 2010 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships wrapped up on Sunday at Weaver Stadium on the campus of Princeton University.
The Lady Bears scored five points and finished tied for 39th with Rider, Dartmouth and Fordham out of 51 teams. Connecticut captured the title with 105 points and was the only team to record 100 points. Fellow Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) foe, Maryland Eastern Shore scored eight points and finished tied for 34th.
Tanisha Kendrick scored the Lady Bears lone points with her fourth-place finish on Sunday in the 400 meter dash with a time of 54.37. A day earlier on Saturday, Kendrick ran a time of 55.01, which placed eighth during the preliminary round to secure the final spot for Sunday's title race.
Allison Randall placed 14th and 15th respectively in the discus and shot put. Randall had a throw of 131-11 in the discus and a toss of 44-04.75 in the shot put.
Avionne Sloan finished 12th in the 400 meter dash (55.49) during the preliminaries and also finished 14th in the 200 meter dash (24.59), also during the preliminary round. Britney Wattley placed 31st (25.07) in the 200 meter dash preliminaries, also finished 21st (12.28) in the 100 meter dash preliminaries.
The NCAA will announce the final list of those competing in the East Regional on Monday, May 17 at 9 p.m.
