Randall Named MEAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Jan. 29, 2010)-Morgan State junior Allison Randall was chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Friday.
A native of Reisterstown, Md., Randall set a meet record in the weight throw with a throw of 58-10.75 feet at the Great Dane Classic, hosted by the University of Albany. Randall’s toss set a school record and earned her a first-place finish.
Randall also finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 43-08.50 feet. This is the first MEAC track honor for Randall or any Lady Bear this season.
