BALTIMORE, Md. (March 31, 2009)-The Morgan State men's tennis team closed out their home slate with a 4-2 victory over visiting Delaware State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match at Clifton Park Courts on Tuesday afternoon. The match which was originally scheduled for March 14, marked the final home match for Seniors Juan and Mauricio Ortiz.
The Bears lost the first singles match, before claiming the next four matches. Delaware State earned a No. 6 singles victory for the final score. There was no doubles action.
Morgan State improved to 4-5 overall with the victory and is now 2-0 in MEAC play, while Delaware State dropped to 6-5, 1-2 in the MEAC.
