She will be chased by Howard's Lauren Mcnary (52.3) and the trio from Morgan State Avionne Sloan (54.3), Jamia Robinson (54.23) and Tanisha Kendrick (54.02). Both 400 races should be very special.

Coach Ralph Jones commented, “This year's legacy meet is an opportunity for the historically black colleges to showcase their talents in track & field against some of the premier conferences in the country. This is also a great opportunity for the students of Morgan State as well as the Baltimore community to come down and see a world class track and field meet in their back yard."

Justus David (Kitui, Kenya) is the MEAC indoor champion in the 5000 meters. He is undefeated this year in races over the 800 meters, and looks to become Morgan's 1st Legacy meet 5000 meter champion.

James Blocker (Jamaica, NY.) is a favorite in the men's High Jump, he has already qualified for NCAA regional's, and is tied for 1st in the MEAC.

We look forward to seeing all track fans and MSU supporters this year, don't miss this historic event!
