Daneilio Absalom ran his fastest time of the season at the Delaware Invitational.
NEWARK, Del. (Sept. 16, 2006)—Morgan State’s Daneilio Absalom ran a time of 29:22.94, his fastest of the season, to place 33rd at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday afternoon at White Clay Creek Park.
Kyle Schmid of host Delaware claimed the individual title with a time of 26:12.98, as the Blue Hens captured the team title with 15 points. George Mason (78) and North Carolina (83) finished second and third, respectively.
The Bears are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 23, when they travel to Princess Anne, Md., to take part in the Maryland-Eastern Shore Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore at 10 a.m.
